Welcome to Trout Brook Vineyard

With more than 25 years of growing cold hardy grape varieties in western Wisconsin, we are at long last immensely pleased to share more about Trout Brook Vineyard and all the wondrous things afoot here throughout the year.

Our aim at having a more engaged web presence is to raise introductions and strengthen our longstanding relationships, while offering a better glimpse onto our farm where we are otherwise found donning boots and working the vines, forest, and farm fields.

We invite you to learn all about our sense of purpose and how our family first set root in viticulture. You can read all about the stunning landscape, what sets it apart, and how its soils and slopes are particularly suited to viticulture.

The family’s raison d’etre is our portfolio of cold hardy grape varieties which remains our pride and joy. Their superior quality stands as testimony to all the time, diligence, and labor we spend throughout the year. Committed to sustainability, it is especially important to outline our farming philosophy for the land, those working it, and the fruit they bear.

Learn more about us and the day-to-day of northern viticulture through the Field Notes posted regularly throughout the year and should you like to volunteer, join us for dinners, take classes, shop the plant sale, enjoy workshops, or dive into Wine Camp clinics, be sure to tune into Events at Trout Brook.

Should you ever have any questions whatsoever, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would love to make your acquaintance, provide some fruit for your next endeavor, enroll you in a class, or simply get familiar with another enthusiastic about viticulture, local wines and spirits.

Thank you for dropping by -we already look forward to sharing a glass of wine together someday soon.
